Family Portraits

As a father of three, I fully understand the frustrations and pleasures of children. As a photographer, I take the attitude that children will be themselves and will not always do as either I or you (as parents) will want. So whatever time in the studio that is required to get a good series of pictures is what it takes (even if you have to come back at another time to complete them!). The important point is that we get those shots that you recognise as your children and not a false image that many other studios will give.

The studio in Buxton (In the High Peak area of Derbyshire) is informal and provides a nice atmosphere for a relaxed family portrait photography session. Families of all ages are welcome, with children from babies, toddlers through to teenagers and over. Just take the time to come into my Photography Studio and have a family portrait to remember. Please feel free to bring along visually interesting items: musical instruments, skateboards, fancy dress, scooters, dance or football kit, whatever you feel is part of your "family". Bringing these along will certainly make great family portrait photographs because you will all feel so at ease it will be easy to forget you are even in front of a camera.
